Hollis Leather is a premium leather goods company based in Palm Coast, Florida. The company produces high end handmade leather goods from premium materials. Each and every piece sold by Hollis leather is handmade using generations old leather-working techniques.

Eric Hollis, who currently leads the company, spent many months traveling overseas learning generations old leather-working techniques, and most notably was guided by legendary leathersmith Leslie Tam, from Honolulu, Hawaii.

 

We are proud to use full grain, vegetable tanned leather from Hermann Oak Leather, one of the oldest tanneries in the USA

Full grain leather refers to the top layer of the hide that contains all the grain. It is the finest and most durable leather on the market. This material is the most natural in its class and its unbeatable by any kind. It comes from a better quality hide, and no sanding processes are applied to its surface. It is then oiled to improve its water resistance and improve its lifespan dramatically. The lack of sanding, buffing and snuffing things keep the authentic look, feel, and durability of the leather.

We use steel roller buckles that allows you to smoothly insert the belt when putting it on. The roller helps guide the belt tail through smoothly, ensuring your belt never gets scratched or scuffed by the hardware. These buckles are also corrosion resistant.

The hardware we use is heavy duty so once our products are put together, they wont be easily undone.

The occasional wait for Hollis Leather products, is due to the handmade process which consists of exquisite attention to detail. Because of this attention to detail however, all Hollis Leather products are warranted to last a lifetime.
